entry forms - national homes, families & Gardens festival

The Naitonal HFG Festival Committee is inviting persons interested in this year's competition to collect entry forms at the Ministry of Social Transformation headquarters on Dickenson Bay Street.  Categories include flower gardens, fruit and vegetable gardens, landscaping (to include pools, ponds, aquariums and well shaped hedges and ornamentals).  Cut off date for acceptance is October 31.  For more information contact the Community Development Division at 562 5533.

Livestock Workshop & Re-Registration

The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Housing & the Environment will be holding a series of workshops aimed at improving the management skills of livestock farmers and owners and at developing good agricultural practices.  The workshops will be held in the parishes from 6 to 8pm on July 5 (St. Peter at Freeman's Ville Primary), July 6 (St. George at Piggotts Primary) and July 7 (St. John's at Ottos Comprehensive School).  The department will also be engaging in a total registration of livestock farmers to reduce the number of strays across the island.

Vu is calling all non-governmental organisations (NGOs); civil society and community, religious, political and or volunteer groups to submit their organisation's name and contact information to vuantiguabarbuda@gmail.com or contact Project Co-ordinator Elijah James (725 8324).  Vu is seeking to build a comprehensive network to provide training and monetary and administrative resource access and support for all NGOs in Antigua & Barbuda.

*    Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS) Card
*    Photo ID (Passport/Drivers Licence/Voter ID)
*    Physician's order for test/admission, if your physician provided one.
